Since 1977, the anti-prize “Plagiarius” is granted to those manufacturers and distributors, whom the jury has found guilty of making or selling “the most flagrant” imitations. The goal is to denounce the unscrupulous business practices of counterfeiters.

The aim of the German “Aktion Plagiarius” is to raise public awareness of the questionable business methods of product and brand pirates worldwide and to sensitize industry, politics and consumers to the problem. The award is presented as a black dwarf with a golden nose.

The 2022 prizes have now been presented on April 25, 2022.
